PS4 OVERHEATING MENU (before game)
Why is the ps4 (slim) overheating on the menu before queuing up to a game ? It’s louder than when I’m in the actual game

- @EA_Barry sorry that’s not what I meant, ‘Overheating’ probably wasn’t the best word, I meant it feels like it’s going to overheat because of the noise. My console is new. Silent in the main menu, silent in character selection, silent in game, silent in shooting practice, unnecessarily loud in the menu before queuing up. I’m just in the menu, not touching my controller, nothing, and it’s loud.
My only solution was to take the top off my original PS4 and put a small house fan on top facing down blowing air onto the board directly. It still sounds like it's going to do something very bad, but it hasn't melted the fan yet.. so that's good.
