Already tried all that.No difference.I updated the thread with stuff I tried trying "fix" the issue.
Considering I met another user with extremely similar frametime graph and the fact my brother had the same 3 quick micro stutters at once randomly I can only conclude its either something with the driver or the game itself.
do you use gsync + vsync + low latency ultra in nvidia cp?
do you cap the fps with nvidia cp ?!
don t cap the fps with +fps_max command the frametimes are terrible, use rtss!
-I don't change the low latency option in the control panel so that's a no. (its off by default) I do use G-sync/v-sync (doesn't change anything with them off I've tried.)
-No.I know the frame limiter is broken in the control panel.I even made a thread about it https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/425566/apex-frametime-issues-with-latest-nvidia-drivers-o/
-Currently using rtss
I've always used the same settings for years without issues. This thing is either something to do with the driver/the game

lol i remember you 🙂 i am mateias32 on nvidia, actually i know about the fps limiter that is broken from you ... i think is a server frame side stutter because i get it too
A server side stutter that appears on a frametime graph?thats wierd. Usually if its server related its just lagg (which looks kinda like a stutter but doesn't show on the frametime graph)

can you come here and help me https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/429825/geforce-46140-game-ready-driver-feedback-thread-re/2985106/
Manuel has no idea what i m talking about, i don t think he got your driver feedback that you have sent ... 🙂
K I just did.I made it as clear as I possibly could with english being my 2nd language.
Did manuel contact you anymore? From the looks of it he seems to have ghosted us.

i haven't got anything back from him ... try to pm him on nvidia forum, i did that too ...
K I directly contacted the guy.Hopefully hes not straight up ignoring us.
Yea the guy is straight up ignoring me xD Nvidia rep bdw.Not even a "k." as a response of acknowledgment.
- @Sp4ceb4lls any response?

@Sp4ceb4llsJust clean installed w10 as a hailmary attempt and the issue still persists XD still the same 3 quick frametime spikes (Shows as 1 stutter) that happens randomly.
Lilmayo still gets it too altought its overall smoother after disabling the Auros application https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Massive-fps-drop-season-7/m-p/10015795#M95875
So much effort into testing, gathering information seemingly getting ignored :/

Friend @wiseolddude, what kind of software runs in the background. In my case source of the random stuttering with my RTX 3090 was the NZXT Cam software. Got rid of it, and set fan curves directly in BIOS. Also, any RGB software controllers running (from ASUS, Corsair, NZXT etc.)? They can also mess with system's latency significantly. The RTSS and MSI Afterburner are safe - do not cause any stuttering. Since then, no matter if I NVIDIA Reflex is turned on or off, I have a butter smooth gaming experience with following configuration: RTSS FPS cap 185 on 200 Hz monitor (because Reflex enabled involves NVIDIA frame limiter with 189 FPS cap, which cannot be disabled without disabling Reflex). Also, if you have newest RTSS and quite high refresh rate (144+), use "front edge sync" in RTSS. This will a) reduce your input latency - verified with CapFameX, b) improve smoothness of the game.
I have nothing that could cause the random stutter. It's the game/driver ma dude.
Honestly I think everyone has some form of stutter on apex at this point. It's just ppl tolerate such low standards that it becomes their new norm and think its fine.
Willing to bet if everyone played with a frametimegraph up they would notice the issue MUCH more.
- @7empePL how do you run this settings?
-Windows Game Mode
-Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling
- disabling fullscreen optimization on the apex.exe
@wiseolddude which driver version do you run at the moment? - @supermatze0202 457.51 currently I also used 2 other different drivers (460.89 and I forgot the other 1) all had the same issue.
- @wiseolddude okay, currently i use the newest driver and get beside the 3 Spikes also isolated frimetimespikes (only one spike and not 3 spikes). Dont know if its related to the driver Version
@supermatze0202"okay, currently i use the newest driver and get beside the 3 Spikes also isolated frimetimespikes (only one spike and not 3 spikes)"
Oh so you're only getting single isolated spikes? (Nothing like what I'm getting?)
You said "besides" I understood it as you also get random single stutters + the 3 quick frametime spikes.
Just so you know it looks like 3 frametime spike when it happens live in game on the frametimegraph. On MSI afterburner hardware monitor it looks like 1 big spike because they all happen at once.
The 3 spikes ingame and the 1 singular spike in the msi hardware monitor are the same spike.
For me the game its pretty much 99% smooth most of the time. The only "spikes" I see is this specific spike.Always the same pattern on the graph/ingame.
- @wiseolddude Yes i get These 3 Spikes in the frametimegraph on screen and in afterburner is only one big spike but since few days a get also Single spikes on screen
@supermatze0202Oh ok.So not only do you get the 3 frametimespikes but since you downloaded the latest drivers you also get random single spikes?
A person here called Neil79 has noticed High dpc latency in both the 461.06 and 461.33 drivers.(got liked by 3 others so there's more then 1 person with the issue)
https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/geforce-461-40-whql-drivers-download-discussion.436432/ may or may not be realated
You said you using the newest driver right? Try going back to 457.51 and see if those random single stutters go away. This driver is suggested frequently as one of the most stable.Drivers in the 460.XX range seem to be more "busted" then normal
- @wiseolddude Show me "Services" in the Task Manager.
- @supermatze0202 Game Mode "on", HAGS "on", fullscreen optimization disabled. NVIDIA Driver 461.40. However Game Mode and HAGS in any combination do not cause the stuttering. Stuttering is caused by drastical latency increase of the NVIDIA kernel driver due to the scheduler assigning CPU time to other process like disk I/O, hardware polling (e.g. temperature readouts, RGB control - especially with non static light scheme and so on). Random, significant frametime spikes may be caused by this. Regular stuttering is rather caused by wrong configuration of the Reflex/FPS cap/V-Sync/G-Sync/NVCP settings.
