Re: Apex shutting down randomly

Sorry to hear that's happening to you, @Mikkel1210

We have an ongoing topic on this below that's worth checking out.

https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Apex-legends-crashing-without-error/td-p/7421009/page/33

Have you checked out the workaround fixes posted in the Community Crashing Troubleshooting Guide?

https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Community-Crashing-Troubleshooting-Guide/td-p/7447308

Let us know if you're running any additional programs while playing and include a DxDiag if you can.

Ah I see. I did briefly search the forums for a similar problem but I suppose I was throughout enough. As for the workaround fixes i've tried most of those to no avail.
As for any additional programs i'm not running anything out of the ordinary (Steam, Origin, Epic Games Launcher and the other standard Windows stuff)

I've attached a DxDiag file as requested 🙂

NB: I noticed some other kind soul told me the newest Nvidia driver was faulty, the problem I have with Apex have been there before I installed that driver so I don't think that's the cause. Not alone at least.

Alright lets do a health check on your system as your  a bit behind on windows updates.

    Spoiler
    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, right click the Windows button, and then select Command Prompt (Admin). If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow or Yes.
    2. Type the following command, and then press Enter.
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Note It might take several minutes for the command operation to be completed.

    1. Type the following command and press Enter.
    sfc /scannow

Note It might take several minutes for the command operation to be completed.

    1. Close the command prompt, and then run Windows Update again.

Just one more thing, i REALLY suggest you rollback the drivers to 417.71.

I can't stress enough how bad it affects others.
