No, no icons appear. Just my ping fluttering between numbers really fast whenever I move my character.

If you haven't already can you try setting a different DNS on your PS5 to see if that helps? I've seen some cases where changing the DNS can help with issues like this. You can update the DNS using the steps below: 

1. Open your PS5 Settings
2. Go to Network
3. Select Settings on the Network screen
4. Select Set Up Internet Connection
5. Choose the network you're connected to
6. Select Advanced Settings
7. Select DNS Settings
8. Choose Manual
9. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but I've heard that using the Cloudflare DNS resolver can also help (Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1)
10. Select OK

I did this and nothing changed. This all started happening after the season launch, there are other posts about this. I highly doubt it has anything to do with my internet as I can play COD and Overwatch with no problems. There is definitely something server related.

Any update on what could be causing this? The game is unplayable for a huge chunk of players. I attached a link to another video in my previous post..

I like how he just stopped responding once those little "fixes" didnt work.

Where are you located, and who is your internet provider if you don't mind me asking? 

I have Comcast Xfinity. I have never had any issues up until this recent season launch. I've tried literally everything at this point and I feel like I'm out of options. I guess I just won't be playing Apex this season. Is it possible to get a refund on my battle pass purchase? 

Can we get SOME sort of update please? This is honestly ridiculous that none of the devs have come out and acknowledged this problem. It's ruined the game for me, a game that I've been playing since day 1. This is honestly so upsetting.

I have the same issue with apex ps5 version since season begin. It's unplayable at the moment.

When quick turn left and right it begins to  stutter plus white flashing screen for a second.The fps goes up and down 60-90 fps. 

It's only on stormpoint and a few spots on Olympus (Docks). Worlds edge have no problems and Olympus a few spots have same fps ups and downs.

On stormpoint in jump ship when i look down plus turning the fps goes under 60fps, 50-55fps.

But the biggest issues and Problems on storm point. Ranked is unplayable since season begin for me. Only public Worlds edge and Olympus runs normal.

Tried many things uninstall,reinstall, dns, cache, build databank new, resolution change 4k-1080p but nothing fix this.

I hope the team fix this ASAP ! On devbug tracker trello nothing of the issue problem is adress at investigating bugs. 

The last little patch a few days ago fix nothing of the problems. 

Please ea respawn team adress the issue and give us a info about a update or working on this. 

Have many friends and saw on twitter many players with the same issue. Can not play ranked with the problems and many others too.
