Make sure that you didn't unlink the PlayStation account from a different EA Account which would result in progression loss. If you didn't unlink the account from a different EA account and linked it to your main EA Account, then cross progression should work for you.

As for receiving cross progression, most users have not received the prompt for merging accounts. But we don't know the time lapse as to when you'll receive the notification for cross progression since they are happening in waves to have a smooth transition.

I'm also waiting as well since the season started. But eventually it will get to you.

    Hi what do you mean by this? My playstion account needs to be linked to my ea account? I guess I’m not understanding. The same thing just happened to me as the original poster.

    As I explained to @cegh2003

    When you unlink a platform from an EA Account and try to link it to another EA Account, you lose progression.

    As long as you don’t unlink any platform accounts from your main EA Profile, cross progression will do its thing once you get the notification. And it will work with whatever amount of platform accounts you have linked in that main EA Account.


    Do you have a separate issue?

    I had my prompt appear then said itd take a few mins. Took me to lobby and nothing changed. Confirmed all my emails and links are correct. My guess is its 50 new bugs. feels bad for them its been a fire out of the gate and down the road

    The same thing happened to me as well. The moment I loaded up my game, I got the update. Updated it, then got the promt, I clicked it as it went through. But then said my account could be accessed, so I waited 5 minutes an tried again. It worked, and put me through but none of my stuff changed over nor did I get the option to choose my account like it shows from other Reddit users. I just need to know it’s something they did, and not me cuz all my accounts are linked

    Wait so my account that I unlinked and relinked to the right account about a year ago just straight up loses its stuff?

    • Honestly I wouldn’t worry too much, as it seems this is happening to many others players, so it must just be a big bug or glitch. Hopefully apex fixes it soon though, the same thing happened to me

    Any platform accounts that you unlink and re-link to a different EA Account can result to loss of progression due to the saved data that is in your EA Profile (Progress & Stats)

    All platform accounts must be under the same EA Account previously so that Cross Progression can take into affect.

    I have my Ps4 account and pc account linked and i got the message " cross progression is here" then i waited but legit nothing happend. 
    And im 100% i even looked it up again my PS4 account and pc account are linked to the same EA account.

    Hey just got the prompt around 10 minutes ago for cross progression on my pc clicked into the lobby and didn't receive any cosmetics/badges/currency, my main account is on the ps4, lots of cosmetic and lots of badges, I switched to pc a few days ago when I heard the news of cross progression. Is there anything else I need to do or is this just a glitch? And yes i have made sure the same accounts are all linked, everything is working on my end.

    Hey, I'm 99% sure it isn't because of a problem on your part as what you just described happened to me too and I double checked to see if my accounts were linked. But it seems this is happening to many other players, so I wouldn’t worry too much as hopefully respawn can fix it soon. Although it is kinda annoying that we've been waiting so long for cross progression just to find out it isn't working as intended.

    I had this same issue and thought it was just me got the thing saying it will take a couple minutes and nothing

    The prompt will appear in the main menu before logging into the lobby on Apex Legends.

    I was tricked before when I saw the message as well 😛

    But what you saw was the announcement in the game where they usually make announcement messages for the game.

    then how would you link two ea accounts together? I unlinked my xbox account from a ea account and linked it to my pc acc and it says i have a console account on my banner in game? have i lost everything?

    You will only lose progress when unlinking a platform account from either/or EA Account since there is saved data in your EA Profile with all your progress.

    Unfortunately, there is no way to merge 2 different EA Accounts for cross progression to work. Only platform accounts that are linked under the same main EA Account can cross progression take into affect.

    i unlinked it before cross progression would that change anything? And does that mean when u start apex on my pc a get a fresh account does that mean ill have to log in into my xbox account or i loose everything?

    Whatever platform is your main account, will be saved no matter what (Unless you unlink your account from your main EA Account).

    Unlinking before or after cross progression doesn't make a difference. It only matters when you unlink any account from either/or EA Profile and you lose progress because of this action.

    Don't unlink your Xbox (if that's where all your progress is) because actually doing so will result to progression loss.

    i understand so i lost everything on my xbox account because i unlinked it from a ea account. So when I got my pc and loaded apex up i should of logged in through xbox. Doing this I would of kept everything. but if i did have two ea accounts one with xbox linked to it and another with my steam linked to it i would of being not able to merge them together

    furthermore ive just done some ivestigation on the ea help page and i does mention i can link to ea accounts. is this true?

    Correct!

    You need to link your PC where your Xbox account is linked to your Main EA Profile.

    When exactly did you create your secondary account (PC) for Apex Legends?
