I am unsure what changed but, I installed apex on my old pc that couldnt handle it, it worked. Went back to my PC, logged back into origin and it took awhile but it actually worked for the first time.
Then later in the day, joined a friends match and we were able to play a game or two.

So not sure what the resolution was, wondering if maybe my account had a 24 hour hold due to the LED software which, unsure why that was considered an issue.

But seems to be working now.

I appreciate the assistance and time!

  • So it seems to be intermittently working.

    When it did work, it would work after about 10-20 minutes of waiting (which is too long but, it worked so whatever)

    However, next day, and today, it didnt work. Left it running for an hour or so, just suck at "Matchmaking #"

    Would bounce from 40-56, etc.

    I forwarded the ports which I found in another post. Forwarded all the ports regarding apex PC as well as also play it on xbox or at least, will be again once EA helps my buddy get his account back from being hacked :/

    Trying it right now, it does not work. I let it sit while I worked for two hours with no success.


    Nothing has changed since it worked and didnt work.

    Any ideas to try?

    Still works on my older PC. Though takes about 3-5 minutes to start, it starts each time and usually doesnt take longer than 5 minutes. Sadly, that computer is very old and crashes when loading the map haha.

    List of what has been attempted so far:

    - Uninstalled and reinstalled Origin and Apex

    - Uninstalled firewalls and both antiviruses, then clean boot

    - Checked windows updates, newest update

    - Reset modem, even got a modem replacement. Disabled all settings within the modem

    - Opened all Apex PC and Xbox Ports

    - Tested on old machine, still works on old machine though machine cant load the maps.

    - Tried different servers. From best (Salt lakes to me) to New york and all the ones in between. No difference on all of them.

    I dont know how to remove the "Solved: part of this thread due to it not exactly being solved :/

    Feeling thats why there are no updates?

    @SketchyUnicorns If solo playing, Average wait time for any mode is 25 minutes.
    If I join a friends lobby, its about 3-5 minute wait time.

    Still happens on any server choice

    Thanks! I appreciate it. 

    I looked at the updated DxDiag, and it looks like a program called gamemanagerservice.exe has been crashing. This usually points to Razer Synapse. Are you running Synapse on your PC? If so, have you checked to see if there might be any updates available for it? Be sure that it's up to date and see if that has any effect at all.

  • I do have Razer Synapse which controls my mini keyboard.

    Tomorrow I will disable it and see if it produces better results.
    If not, I will uninstall it and try as well then report back to here.

    I'm in the same boat no synapse though. New build tried all the advice I could find. Any ideas on how to get this working?

    @The_Lonehoppy 

    Does it matter which datacenter you're connected to? Have you tried switching to a different one to test and see if that has any effect at all?

    Hi folks. 


    I merged a couple threads together about this same issue. 

    It sounds like this is an issue that's currently being tracked. If you haven't tried playing again lately can you try restarting your system and see if there's been any improvement?

  • I have just tried restarting and it still didn't work. Then I tried reinstalling both origin and the game and that didn't work either.

    I disabled, as well as uninstalled, rebooted, and still had the same issue.
    Earlier I was thinking the same about there not being that many people on PC vs console since on console, it starts fast but on twitch, seems others are able to start fast still. When I switch to their servers, it is still slow for me while they connect right away.
