Re: Unable to connect (code:tap) - only happens in Trios since Tricks n' Treats

@SoweonSoweonSo here are some solutions:

1. Check for server issues: The first thing you should do when you encounter the Apex Legends Error Code Tap is to check if there are any server issues. You can check the official Apex Legends Twitter account or website to see if there are any known server problems. If there are, you will need to wait until the servers are back online before you can connect to the game.

2. Restart your router and modem: If there are no server issues, the next thing you should do is to restart your router and modem. This will refresh your internet connection and may fix any issues that are causing the Error Code Tap. To do this, simply unplug your router and modem, wait for a few seconds, and then plug them back in. Wait for them to restart and try connecting to Apex Legends again.


3. Check your internet connection: If restarting your router and modem doesn’t fix the problem, you should check your internet connection. Make sure that your internet is stable and fast enough to connect to the game servers. You can also try connecting to the game using a different device or network to see if the problem is with your internet connection.

    I just thought by giving you a full fledged suggestion, that it would help you in your situation. And clearly it seems like it didn't seem to work for you.

    Still having this problem, really annoying. EA Support doesn't get me anywhere.

    Try checking the EA Server Status (depending what system you use to play Apex Legends) and see if any of those solutions work for you and to see if the servers are up and running 

    Side Bar: I checked the Apex Servers and everything seems to be working.

    @TheRedLion93 Look dude, I wouldn't be posting here if I had a simple problem that could be fixed by those very basic generic solutions that you are posting here. I already looked into all of that, it's all useless / doesn't apply to my problem. The "how to use EA Help" shows a [Still need help] section with [Email us] and [Chat with us] options. When I go to the Apex Legends support page and try to look for anything that could vaguely relate to my problem, it doesn't show those [Email us] and [Chat with us] options, it only shows [EA Connection quality... Learn more about connection... Understand the quality of your connection]. Which is, again, completely useless for my situation. I would love to be able to actually chat with someone from EA/Respawn about this so we can actually work towards fixing this very specific problem (instead of being given some generic solution which doesn't apply to my problem at all, I am getting so tired of this).

    @SoweonSoweon I understand your frustration and do apologize that the guide I have provided for you hasn't satisfied your needs into finding a solution. No matter how simple or difficult your situation is, there's always a solution.

    Hopefully a Hero, Champion and/or EA Community Admin can give you a better solution.

  • @SoweonSoweon I have the same problem, it's not your fault or that of your internet if you say that it only happens in trios and that since the new event has been there it's probably gone again for the new season. Nope, but you can't change it

    @TheRedLion93 Yeah, the solution is for EA to provide better servers. There is nothing players can do to fix what is fundamentally wrong with the game. Every event, season, or just a tiny update somehow breaks the servers, and players have to wait days or even weeks for a fix.
