Hey, can you try a repair of the game and see if that has any impact?

You'll find the repair option by right-clicking the game in Origin. 

The message indicates a server timeout, so some standard steps like a system restart, router power-cycle and firewall re-whitelisting may help too.

    Hey @EA_David  Thanks for responding , i have done the below indicated , i actually did a clean re-install of my windows operating system & i re-downloaded season 6 from scratch quite a job i must say. 

    i have also rebooted my PC & ISP Internet Fibre modem. 
    i have permanently disabled my Windows Firewall. 

    if i check the IN-Game server IP using some TCP/UDP watch tool i can see i'm connecting to a German server even though i selected London which is a bit strange , anyhow. 

    German Game server IP - 151.106.58.185 

    Germany  Host Europe GmbH29066

    if i run a MTR test (constant ping & traceroute) i get below results which is normal have been playing fine since season 0 

    but since season 6 launched have been facing multiple timeouts & disconnects , it happened in a ranked game aswell it just kept trying to load back in but it wouldnt eventually it sent me back to the lobby and i recieved a penalty for leaving a game???

    @M1kemclain247_ZW Also a quick note i live in Zimbabwe / Africa - i have always had between 170-200ms in-game , but its very playable i have been playing fine since season 0 im a long time supporter of the game , but just this season something is up with either the servers / or the way they handle people with higher ping , not sure.

    Thank you. I'm not aware of any changes to how traffic is managed this season but such changes are usually made quietly and I'll see if I can glean anything.

    Does connecting to the other datacenters(perhaps Bahrain?) have any impact on stability/the code:cloud timeout?

    Thanks at least if someone could look into it they may find something , could be packet update rates or something like this not sure. i think its not affecting those playing on under 100ms as much as its affecting us from regions without servers.

    Well u see Bahrain is actually further from Africa than UK in terms of routing and fibre routes,  so the ping is actually higher than London which is 170ms ,Bahrain is something like 200+ms which is usually not fun latency to play on.

    My next question would be is it possible for us to use the GUI i saw in the dev stream , it showed ping / ms  server packetloss while in game , under the kills Icons? is there a command that lets us see that UI for further troubleshooting? That way we can check if we are lagging in-game,  most games have that UI embedded & optional already. 

    Last but most important AWS - Amazon is Live in South Africa Kubernetes went live a couple weeks ago , is it not possible we could get South Africa / Capetown servers at some point?

    Thanks for the extra info about routing. I'll chase up to see if I can find anything about a change for higher-ping players, but I haven't found anything yet. 

    Unfortunately there's no net graph on the player-side version of the game, it's something I'd love to see too. 

    Again, sorry to not have much of an answer, but there's no news on South African servers. It's a frequent request, and we have added regional servers in the past, but I can't make a promise until/unless we get the official confirmation.

    @EA_David  forgot to mention this just so that u can see the impact / amount of players that would love for these SA Servers to come here is the petition people were signing a while back http://chng.it/rHkBjRswKb

    would be awsum if u could perhaps share with someone higher? or pass the message along to someone who might be able to weigh a decision at some point

    hello, i contacted ea help and i finally solved the issue by enabling DMZ in my router.

    just go to your google chrome or firefox etc.. search bar (better on pc) and type in your router’s ip address (its written on the back of you router) then it will ask you to type in the admin password (also written on the back of your router) then look for the DMZ option (mine was in the firewall section, every router is different so you have to search for it to enable it) restart your router and ps4/pc and you’ll be good. this has been happening to me since season 5 and it was getting worse everyday but now i never disconnected from a game. hope this helps <3

    Bro I was trying to do that. Even ea help is telling me to do that but my router is asking for service name and i cannot find apex legends in the list. I have no idea how to do that and even my isp is not helping me.If you know something about this can oyu please help me?

    Hey , I think they fixed this code leaf code cloud error. I was in touch with ea help on twitter they told me to open ports but I didn't find a way to do so and just started playing normally and guess what it didn't happened to me since yesterday. And they fixed some other bugs like knockdown shield not working, survey beacons not showing on the map.

  • got 3 error codes the trifecta, 

    Net first then leaf and when I started back up got cloud, 

    Keep getting kicked from ranked games and getting a penalty for leaving which I didn't and on top of that I get a -72 rp to boot right on !!! 

    I think I'll be going back to cod until this garbage is fixed this is absolutely absurd, spend all this money getting all heirlooms but two to be slapped in the face with this crap, then get ahold of a ea rep and it gets worse right after as if I'm being picked on by moderation completely inappropriate,

    I got the same issue. Since the Update the game keeps crashing on me. Either it closes completely, or i get Code:net, Code:leaf and Code:cloud. When i am able to connect to the game again it instantly kicks me out. i can only play 1 or 2 games without problems afterwards the game doesnt let me play any more. I dont know whar Respawn and EA did in this patch, but pleas FIX YOUR GAME FOR ONCE!!!!!

  • @EA_David It's 17th of October 2021 and I'm still facing same error while i almost did everything to get rid of this. Not only me my other friends facing the same problem. Kindly help us otherwise we can't able to play anymore because it's getting worst day by day.
  • is there an different way to fix tihs, because the repair does nothing for me.
    also i get the code:net and that is not fixed either

    Having the same problems. Error codes: net and cloud mostly. Game freezes very often and drops me off causing un-deserved abandon penalty. After drop off when joining new game or when game freezes between lobby and start of the match, game status might go back in to previous game end summary stats. For me this seems like that my game instance loses its connection to current game session and when starting a new one, game finds the lost game and drops off from newly started one. Very frustrating. Also chat lags in these situations. I might write something in party's chat, got dropped off because of net error code or similar, when joining party again my chat messages appear duplicated. --> system can't sync my session properly with server.

    It's doesn't matter if I use home network or shared connection through my work or civil mobile or use different Apex servers (Amsterdam and Frankfurt mostly) the same symptoms appear. DNS flush or setting 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 addresses for DNS doesn't make difference, only www-browsing got faster. I am running the game through Steam.
