Request for Review of Permanent Account Ban (EA Account: RNM86743023)

Dear EA Support Team,

I am writing to formally request a review of the permanent ban applied to my EA account (RNM86743023), which is linked to my Steam account and multiple purchased EA titles.

From my understanding, the first and second strikes issued to my account were related to my profile name, which was automatically updated to be my Steam name when EA integrated with Stam. However, I was not provided with any prior warning, notification, or opportunity to amend the issue before these strikes were applied. I only became aware of the violations after receiving the suspensions, which limited my ability to correct the problem proactively.

The third and final strike, which resulted in the permanent ban, appears to have stemmed from an in-game chat interaction in Apex Legends. In that instance, I responded to a teammate who had been consistently using toxic and racist language throughout the match. My message was intended to de-escalate the situation rather than contribute to it. Despite this, I was penalised, while the behaviour that prompted my response appeared to go unaddressed.

Given these circumstances, I respectfully believe the permanent ban may be disproportionate, particularly considering:

- The lack of prior warning or opportunity to resolve the earlier issues

- The context of the final incident, where my intent was to calm a hostile situation

- The long-term value of my account and its connection to multiple EA titles

In the years that my account has been permanently banned, I have attempted to rectify this through the EA support team on multiple instances, I have submitted forums, contacted the EA support community, and have not been met with any satisfactory results of a person reviewing my appeal case properly.

I kindly request that my case be reviewed in full, including chat logs and context surrounding the reported incident. I would greatly appreciate any consideration for reducing the penalty or restoring access to my account.

I am a kind person, who simply would like to play his favourite EA games again. If I understood what I knew now, I would not engage in any communications with any team mates within an online match if I was aware there was a chance that I was going to receive punishment for attempts of de-escalation, or I would not have linked my EA to my steam, to avert from any breaches of Terms of Service.
