Severe Stuttering and Connection Issues

I play Apex Legends on the Japan servers, and since the September 30 anti-cheat update I have been experiencing extremely severe server-related stuttering and connection issues.

The game frequently freezes, stutters, rubber-bands, rolls my position back, or becomes temporarily stuck. Multiple red connection/server error icons often appear in the top-right corner of the screen at the same time. When the issue is mild, it happens every few minutes; when it is severe, it can happen every few seconds.

This affects Ranked, Wildcard, and Mixtape, and sometimes makes the game almost impossible to play normally.

I am confident that this is not caused by my own network connection or hardware. I did not experience anything close to this level of severity before the September 30 update.

I would like to know whether this is a known issue and what I can do to improve the latency and stuttering problems.
