Since last update apex wont start

since the last update the game does not start. The Easyanticheat window opens and then closes without starting the game. more than three weeks ago and you are supposed to be reviewing it, is there any update on this?

  • asked to EA chat support: is apex legends supporting dx11 cards?

response: No, Apex Legends requires DirectX 11.1 support to run correctly.

So cards under nvidia 10XX series are no longer supported by apex legends.

    Hey m31g0,

We don't have any updates for that particular situation currently. That said, which graphics card are you using? We've seen this more with certain cards than others.

Additionally, while I understand Apex won't even launch in your situation, the steps in this post regarding crashing after/during launch may still help out. I'd definitely give those a shot if you haven't already as they can help out in many similar situations.

Yeah , i did all steps, repair, reinstall, clean boot, windows update, graphic driver update(and tried older versions), uninstall geforce experience, tried EA and Steam, deleted ea folder, tried dx12 and 11, updated bios, run as administrator, etc....

Finally i reinstalled windows but problem remains. I was playing apex fine but 7 january update crashed it.

    GTX660 here

Same problem here with GTX 660 and i5-3570K.
    I try with fresh install Windows 11 24h2 - 11 23h2 - 10 22h2
    Nvidia drivers 473.81 and 475.14
    DirectX 11 and 12
    Epic/EA and Steam launcher
    Disable Overcloking
delete EAC folders and redownload + reinstalling Apex wtih each new install of Windows
Nothing install just, drivers uptodate, Epic/EA and Steam

    Hi m31g0,

It's not possible to play because our graphics cards support DirectX 12, but the maximum functionality level is 11.

You can see this in DxDiag. If your card doesn't support functionality level 12, it's impossible to play.

Here's a screenshot of my new 2060 ans it works:

that's what I think, but if so I need an official answer if our cards are no longer supported
