Steam ignores the "remember" option when logging into EA.

Hi everyone. I'd like to ask for your help with a problem I've been having with the game lately. Here's the thing: I play through the Steam launcher, but every time I turn my PC off and on, when I launch the game, it asks me to verify my EA account. It's really annoying because even though I select the 'remember' option, it asks me to verify again the next time I log in. Does anyone know what's going on or how I can fix it?
