Teammates crash when I fully die after update (Steam/AMD GPU?)
Since the new season update, I’ve been experiencing a strange issue in Apex Legends on Steam.
Whenever I get fully eliminated (NOT when knocked), my teammates instantly crash or disconnect from the game. The crash only happens after my character fully dies.
Important details:
- Platform: Steam
- The issue does NOT happen when I am knocked down
- It only happens when I fully die
- My teammates immediately crash/disconnect afterward
- This has happened multiple times already
I’m also wondering if this could possibly be related to AMD GPUs/drivers, because I am using an AMD graphics card, while my friends who use NVIDIA GPUs do not seem to experience this issue at all.
Has anyone else encountered this problem after the new season update?
