Sorry to hear you’ve been dealing with this, especially after recovering a compromised account.

And thank you as well to Midnight9746 for the detailed reply. As Midnight9746 mentioned, bans and appeals can’t be reviewed or handled here on the forums.

If the violation is not showing in your Penalty History, and you’re therefore unable to appeal it there directly, please use this webform instead and include as much detail and supporting information as possible. Since you believe the account was compromised, it would also be a good idea to clearly include that timeline in your case notes, along with any DSAR logs, access history, or other supporting information you have available.

Yeah I took a long year or 2 break from Apex only opening it here and there to check the events. It kinda sucks coming back to a hacked account and no way to actually unban it , when clearly the account was compromised. I've tried multiple appeals at this point , I always get the same automated message with no real revisions. I've also sent a letter to the DPO , Im thinking now about sending an actual physical letter to get the account reviewed . This is ridiculous to me , but I'm not gonna sit here and lose an account I had since the start of Apex because they can't put a competent human to review actual cases. Its clear with the proofs I have there should be an overturn or atleast a human able to escalate the situation to higher ups and or explain to me the exact reason why they wont overturn the ban.

Yeah it really is a bummer. Don’t get why they can’t just help people. They can easily see all ip logs to see if it was logged into anywhere else but your city or something. They just don’t care. Gonna keep trying everyday until they either ban me from appealing or fix it.
