Unfairly Banned for Playing Enhancements

Hey everyone,
I'm in a really frustrating situation and I'm hoping someone here can help or has experienced something similar.
I just discovered that my Apex Legends account, iros008 on PlayStation 5, has been banned. The email I received claims it's for using "playing enhancements" (cheating).
Here is the problem: I have not played Apex Legends a single time since the current season started.
It makes absolutely no sense. How can I be banned for cheating in a game I haven't even logged into?
This is even more insulting because I've had serious issues with my account in the past. Previously, I had a significant amount of Apex Coins completely disappear from my account—they were essentially stolen. I contacted Apex/EA support about it, and they did absolutely nothing. They just ignored the problem and let it go, and I never got my coins back.
So, first, they let my coins get stolen with no resolution, and now they're banning me for "cheating" when I'm not even playing the game.
Has anyone else gone through this? Is it possible my account was compromised and someone else was using it? I'm on PS5, so I thought that was less common.
I've already appealed, but given my last experience with their support team (who did nothing about my stolen coins), I have zero faith.
Could anyone offer any advice on what to do? Has this happened to anyone else?

  • 6165329​ Unfortunately, EA Account bans cannot be handled on the forums as you would need to contact the EA TOS Team.

    It is possible that your EA Account, (or one of your platform accounts, (if any)), was hacked, (which you would need to secure any hacked account before appealing the ban).

    As for the Apex Coins, that may have been spent by someone else who had gotten into your account, (hence why I've mentioned securing your accounts).

    Sadly however, there is no way to refund the Apex Coins once those spent, (and the same goes for Legend Tokens, Crafting Materials, etc.)
