you need to google port fowarding, this has been a issue with battlefield for a very long time.
I cant remember what port needs to be forwarded in your router but there is no other way round it, i had the same problem back in the bf4 days.
If you google "BF4 port forwarding two accounts" it should bring up a load of threads about it, If i get in early tonight ill see if i can dig some out.
Here's a link to portforward.com wich contains the specified ports you need to forward.

Hey @kompete,
I did not mean that. I meant that your Xbox Gamertag where you play Battlefield with is also connected to the PC EA-account persona where you play Battlefield with? You can check this via https://myprofile.ea.com or via our Live Support via https://help.ea.com/contact-us.
If it is the case that they are connected to the same accounts, it is very normal that you can not play simultaneously on the same EA account, because this is sadly not possible. Only one platform account connected to the EA account can be used at any one time, if it is about the same game. - @EA_Leeuw Hi. Sorry I don’t know how to put this other than the accounts are completely separate in EVERY single respect. The only thing that’s the same is that we live in the same house and plug into the same router/modem. And as I said we have played other multiplayer games like Fortnite with separate accounts without any problems.

@kompete, so you are 100% certain that your Xbox account where you play Battlefield with is not connected to the EA Origin account for PC where you try to play Battlefield with simultaneously?
If you are certain of that, it is indeed most likely the case that there's an issue with your local network which is preventing you from playing the game simultaneously. I see that DeniedMercy has a nice worksheet posted with possible ports that can be forwarded to see if they fix the issue for you. This is my issue. I have two games linked to one EA account. Is there any work around for this?

Hey @wardogs158,
Do you mean two different console accounts linked to one and the same EA account for Battlefield 2042? - @EA_Leeuw To my knowledge this is the case. My Origin account shows that my Xbox is linked.

@wardogs158, ah alright. Yeah in that case it is possible that you're not able to play at the same time, unfortunately. This is because of the Cross-Platform Cross-Progression and only one persona can be used (that is connected to one and the same EA account) at any time. - @EA_Leeuw Is it possible for me to just start over and create a new account for my PC?

@wardogs158, hmm, unfortunately you can't just transfer purchases over from one account to the other, so you gotta make another purchase on the new EA account in that case then, if you want to do this. Also please note that you will also not be able to make use of cross-progression in that case. - @EA_Leeuw I’m sorry that’s what I meant. I need to create a new EA account with gamepass for my PC? I’m not concerned about the cross-progression, so that’s not an issue. My goal is solely to play both platforms simultaneously.

@wardogs158, alright. Yeah, as long as you don't try to play simultaneously with the same EA account, you should be okay, as long as you are also not concerned about cross-progression. - @EA_Leeuw Sounds good. Thank you for the help.
I don’t even know if you’ll see this but when I go to port forward my router it has 1 box with port or port range on it not udp or the other one help please
