📝 Battlefield 6 Missing Features & Community Feedback
🧭Pinging System
- Players should have full manual control over pinging no automatic pinging.
- You should be able to ping freely by pressing the ping button as often as needed.
- If you’re downed, you should still be able to ping, calling out enemies or objectives.
- Automatic or “smart” pinging shouldn’t override manual input.
🪖Squad Leader System
- It should be easy to identify who the current squad leader is.
- If the squad leader isn’t playing their role properly (not giving orders or inactive), the system should automatically demote and promote another active squad member to leader.
- This keeps the squad organized and objectives focused.
🗣️Communication Wheel
The commo rose (communication wheel) should offer a wider range of quick chat commands, like in Battlefield 3, 4, and 2042. Suggested lines:

- “Cover me”
- “Going in hot”
- “Stay quiet”
- “I need backup”
- “That area is dangerous” (double-tap ping shortcut)
- “Take the objective”
- “What’s your order, Squad Leader?”
- “Fallback fallback”
- “Enemy tank”
- “Enemy helo”
- “Sniper”
- “Infantry over there”
- “Caution: landmine”
There should be multiple variations of these same commands, so in game voice lines feel dynamic and unique, not repetitive.
🌐Server Browser
- Server browser should allow filtering by game type with simple checkboxes.
- Clearly separate official DICE servers (Standard and Hardcore) from community servers.
- Add filtering options for:
- Open vs. Closed Weapons
- Server Rules
- Custom Settings
- Give players the freedom to browse and select exactly what they want, not rely only on matchmaking.
🛠️Portal Mode
- Portal should be clearly labeled as user generated content.
- It should have its own server browser, making it simple to navigate and discover community creations.
- Clear details, easy filters, and transparent server information should be front and center.
🕹️Game Modes & Playlists
- Every game mode should be available in the server browser even if no one’s currently playing it. If a player selects it, they should be able to start the lobby themselves.
- Add the option to choose open or closed weapons in every mode.
- Official Hardcore playlists should be available for every mode.
- Add a “Full Rotation” playlist that cycles through every mode Standard or Hardcore, Open or Closed weapons.
💼Loadouts
- Players should be able to rename their loadouts.
- Loadout names help players organize setups for different strategies and playstyles, making customization more personal and practical.
