Really useful guide! Being a Support sometimes isn't the most glamorous of roles, but it's so vital for keeping teams going.
Since I apparently have a penchant for reviving people in the middle of fire-fights (seriously, heed EA_Rtas's advice about not doing that 😆), I've taken to using the deployable cover when I'm being silly and rushing in to pick someone up. I'll try dropping the cover in front of whoever I'm trying to revive to buy some extra seconds to defib or drag revive them while under fire. It also means that whoever I've revive can either run away, or return fire from cover. It doesn't always work, and if there are RPGs flying around then the cover won't last long, but it seems fairly effective.
Also, here's my loadout at the moment:
I use the Combat Medic path as well, since I find the faster revives better than quicker resupplies myself, and while I will sometimes change the primary to a DMR or LMG, I'll generally stick to an assault rifle for versatility or a carbine if a lot of close quarters fighting is going on.
Appreciate you popping in a screenshot of your own loadout! I'll get it added to the main post!
Also I like the idea of using the deployable cover. having a portable hard cover even if only for a few moments can really make the difference

Thanks dude, you're welcome.
I saw someone use the deployable cover in a video to save themselves from a grenade, and thought it'd help with my risky revive addiction 🤣

ElliotLH I find the deployable cover very situational. It sometimes is hit and miss to get correct placement. If the victim is out in te open on a flat surface it works, but I still would accompany it with smoke grenades. Too few medics use them because they don’t want to give up offensive capabilities.
I typically run the smoke launcher in combo with incendiary grenades when playing medic. I use the smokes to conceal the revive and the incendiary to block the path of the suspected threat.
