Half-Finished Garbage Battlefield 6

DICE and EA, you guys disappointed me again.

I was actually hoping you could pull off a comeback, so I pre-ordered the Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition early. And what the hell did you serve up instead?

I haven't played the single-player campaign, only multiplayer (more than 70 hours), so I won't comment on the campaign. The current version of Battlefield 6 has the following issues (among many, many others):

Terrible optimization. It's a miracle if you can even run the game properly. Problems like abnormal performance hogs or the game failing to utilize hardware are everywhere.

The game is crawling with bugs: IFV missiles ignoring countermeasures, infantry getting stuck on terrain and launching into the air, hits not registering (showing hit effects but dealing no damage), the attachment system automatically reverting changes, being unable to use attachments unlocked in the current round, unlock challenges getting stuck, keybinds not matching player settings... the list is endless.

Zero balance between classes and weapons. There are only a handful of viable guns; the rest are just straight-up downgrades. The Assault class has no smoke grenades. Thermobaric and concussion grenades don't even affect your aim... I could go on and on.

The grind is insane and completely unreasonable. The unlock requirements for weapons, gadgets, and attachments look like you added a few extra zeros while filling in the data with your feet. Weapon mastery (attachment unlocks) XP requirements increase exponentially. Why do you think Portal servers are always full, screwing over community creators? It's because your bulls hit requirements force players to farm unlocks in Portal, and even that is a pain in the **bleep**! And yet, DICE, instead of increasing XP gain or lowering the requirements, you made the dumbest choice possible: you massively nerfed the XP gain in Portal. People say you should fix the cause of a problem, not just suppress the symptoms. But you, DICE? You're not fixing anything; you're just trying to block everything until it explodes! Even if you had to add grindy content for "long-term engagement," you could have made it for skins or rare achievements, NOT for weapons, gadgets, and attachments that are essential to the gameplay experience!

Weapon Sights: The color filter when ADSing ruins brightness and clarity. The blur and bloom around the sight's edges are too wide. Some red dot reticles are blurry. Some sights are the size of a fingernail, and when you combine all these problems, they become completely useless. There are barely any decent sights to use.

Missing or broken features: No option to switch teams mid-match, the minimap's max size is still too small, the minimap scale only has three presets (which are all bad and can't be set manually), and so on.

If this is the kind of half-finished garbage you're going to serve up, you should have just let the Battlefield IP die with dignity back when Battlefield 1 finished its updates!
