Jet and Helicopter Freelook Overhaul
In Battlefield 5, when using a controller, a setting existed called "Decouple Aircraft Freelook" where the pilot could independently freelook with R joystick without sacrificing aircraft controls.
In Battlefield 6, this option does not exist for jets or helicopters. Turning off "Helicopter Control Assist" forces the pilot to bind Freelook activation to a single button (i.e. hold LB to freelook using R joystick). This bind prevents the pilot from banking/yawing when held in, making helicopter control awkward when trying to freely view the surroundings. Turning on "Helicopter Control Assist" is more optimal for Freelook (the pilot does not need to hold in the button to use R to freelook), however this option makes Freelook literally yaw the helicopter + the pilot loses most control over directional movement (cannot bank or pitch, flying forward can only be achieved with precise throttle management).
The addition of a "Decouple Freelook" option for jets and helicopters would help tremendously, especially for regular pilots that could use the additional assistance for obstacle evasion, missile dodging, etc. The ability to move the camera around without disabling aircraft control should be implemented. Please consider this.
