Message to EA final good bye
Final Message to EA
I am writing this as my final communication regarding my account ban and the way I have been treated throughout this process. I want this message to be clear, sincere, and on record.
I fully support strong action against individuals who deliberately cheat or exploit online games. Fair competition matters to me. However, I have become a victim of EA’s excessively aggressive enforcement system, a system that fails to distinguish between malicious actors and ordinary, paying customers who simply have standard PC software installed.
Despite being a long-term customer for over a decade, I was banned without being shown any concrete evidence or meaningful explanation. Every appeal I submitted was met with generic responses that gave no indication that my case was ever reviewed by a human being. This is not only unfair, but it undermines the principles of due process and transparency that consumers are entitled to under EU law.
As a PC gamer, I use a variety of legitimate peripheral and configuration software, including:
Logitech G HUB
SteelSeries GG
reWASD
Corsair iCUE
Through research, I found that many other innocent players have been banned while using similar software. This pattern strongly suggests systemic issues in EA’s detection or enforcement methods, issues that should have led to careful investigation rather than automatic punishment.
What hurts the most is not the ban itself, but the way I have been treated. I have been dismissed, disrespected, and made to feel like a criminal by both EA and parts of the EA community, all without any evidence presented against me. After more than 13 years of loyalty and financial support, I expected fair treatment, or at the very least, human consideration.
Because of this, I am formally ending my relationship with EA. I will continue my appeal solely to regain temporary access so that I may permanently close my EA account and remove every title I have purchased. This is no longer about reinstating my access; it is about principle, accountability, and closure.
I had hoped for better. Instead, I am leaving as a deeply disappointed customer who once valued your company and its games.
This is my final goodbye.
