Netcode/Desync/Hit Reg, When do we get those?

Hey um just curious if theres a paywall for Hit Detection...

Because im Constantly putting 200+ damage into people for them to not die, Constantly No Registration on Sniper shots on non moving targets. Often getting blood spurts from their heads with 0 damage.

I do not know if there is like a NERF to PC players or something because earlier i lost a gun fight to a guy when i hit him... 10-15 times in the head while he was hipfiring my legs.... i then went on to spectate him as he shot nowhere near anyone but still got kills... it was very weird. Or is there a spectate bug?

YOU NEED TO FIX THE HIT DETECTION, NETCODE and DESYNC issues because the game is a joke. It gets really old when you unload a clip into someone reload unload another clip, Swap to your secondary unload that, then Shoot them with a rocket and they hipfire you twice and your dead.

the RNG of this game is **bleep**. and it always seems to work against me.

I shoot in bursts, I use cover i get the first 5hits before i die.

Please give us the option of not playing against Controller players too because they get 0 Bloom 0 recoil and a soft aimbot. its a total **bleep** joke.

Earlier today, I shot a guy with an RPG. it did 70 damage, i reloaded the RPG, We then both shot each other with the RPG. My rpg did 70 damage for 140 total. His ONE RPG did 120 Damage. Both Chest shots.

Make it make sense.

  • No, there is generally no "paywall" for fundamental game mechanics like hit detection in major titles; these issues are almost always technical problems related to the game's netcode, server performance, or client-side latency. The experiences you describe—like headshots not registering damage, massive damage disparity, and suspicious kill cams/spectating—point strongly to severe netcode issues, server desynchronization (desync), or potential latency differences between players. Spectator modes can often be inaccurate due to how they process game data, which could explain why the player you spectated appeared to be shooting inaccurately. While some games do have cross-platform differences (like the aim assist and recoil you mentioned for controller players), the core problems of non-registering hits and damage variance are symptoms of the underlying technical infrastructure needing improvement.

I'm on PS5 and have same Problem. This is Not a PC vs. Controller Problem with Hit Registration and die behind Walls.

  • It's not a pay-wall and it's not console or PC, controller or MnK, it's EA/DICE forcing cross-play.

Since PC players discovered a way to turn off cross-play they also discovered the gunplay/netcode improves.

Cross-play clearly causes technical limitations that damage the experience.

Also PC players discovered you get put into bot-filled matches when you turn off cross-play even if there are hundreds of thousands of PC players online.

Match-making is clearly heavily biased toward filling lobbies of people with cross-play on rather than matching with their own platform.

And EA/DICE remain completely silent on the issue because it's embarrassing that they force something that makes the game worse and they are incapable of fixing it.

They would rather the community keep arguing and blaming each other than admit their own stupid design choices and technical failures.

EA/DICE need to stop making terrible decisions based on greedy marketing exec ideas (making more and more game modes no one asked for and splitting the community) and give cross-play options to everyone that will improve things for everyone.
