Closed classes keep Battlefield 6 from turning into Call of Duty
In Battlefield, closed classes force players to commit to a role—Assault, Engineer, Support, Recon—so each squad needs teamwork to succeed. Without this, you end up with “super soldiers” swapping weapons mid-fight to counter every situation, which breaks balance and realism. Closed classes mean you can’t just instantly switch from sniper to rocket launcher to SMG in the same life. You have to rely on teammates, work with your loadout, and play your role—exactly what sets Battlefield apart from COD’s run-and-gun, every-man-for-himself style.

Maybe I would add the option to re-equip weapons when capturing territory only when I capture a certain territory and can move further in the battle, otherwise NOT as you write here. You just have to rely on your teammates

Thats the loint of this game…. Teamwork. These call of duty players are so obvious its not even funny. Just go play beavis and butthead and leave people who have been waiting for this game for 9 years to rnjoy the whole premise of the game
