I have a new one for you. I have been working on it for a couple of days, trying to get things just right. I waited to say anything about it until I was happy with it.Experience code: ZGQ1G"Casual Conquest with Bot Control and Team Switching"It is a faithful reproduction of Operation Firestorm conquest. It should feel like the real thing, but with bots and you have control of whether there are bots and which team players are on.There is a sign post by each spawn which has a sign where you turn the bots on or switch teams. It should be pretty obvious when you drive by.I spent a lot of time tweaking the AI to feel right. The AI will use vehicles. They will attack objectives. They will attack vehicles. And they will revive. ;)Regarding reviving or resupplying, there is only a 1 in 4 chance that the AI near you will be a support class, and then it also depends on whether they are already on a mission. You are most likely to get the support you need when near an objective area; especially after the objective is finished being captured.Giving the AI a goal that makes the game feel good, is somewhat in opposition to being helpful to you the human. So, I'll just say the AI is very similar to what you will experience with a real human player. It may just not listen to you if it wants to do something else instead. I have tried to make it more willing to revive, but at some point the subroutines take too long and the server crashes if you try to get too complicated with the options.I think I have struck a very good and fun balance. I hope that you will agree.You can fly vehicles above the opponent's HQ, but you will get a warning if your altitude is too low. Just a FYI. I may go back and tweak the AI in the other maps I made. We'll see.Now that I have invested all the time into making it work and play right, I can more easily add more maps. That wasn't the original intent. The original intent was to create new maps or experiences that aren't already in the game. For instance, the first one: hardcore team deathmatch. Not an option in the game. And then the free-to-play maps added for the REDSEC people who hadn't purchased the game to see what the game is. The PVE thing just happened. The bots were added to give people something to do while waiting for other players to join. But it turns out that basically no one plays Portal Custom other than PVE players. Everyone else just suffers through the matchmaking that they claim to hate.I guess you are right that it is time to adjust this thread to match the demand that exists.

Of course. Just host any experience that isn't already hosted by someone.

Most of these experiences were down for a while today and are coming back online one by one. The reason they were down was because I made some changes to the way AI behaves and made minor level changes. The AI now avoids getting into vehicles and clumps up less in TDM. I also fixed a mistake I made with the Standard core's bot health.

Thank you so much for your hard work—true wisdom comes from grassroots experts! I’m also an older Battlefield player (53 years old now). I’ve been obsessed with FPS games since I was young, but now that I’m getting on in years, I really can’t keep up with the intensity and pace of the younger players in Battlefield 6. I’ll fire up my PS5 right after work today to try out your suggestions!

I think I should go with what makes sense for the intent of the server. As it is, when a server fills, there are no bots. That's not very casual... So, I figure I will set the bots to fill the server to 64 players, but leave the humans maxed out at 48.

The larger the map, the more "quiet" it will be naturally. 48 for the small and 64 for large would be ideal I guess.

The conquest experience is currently 48 player (44 bots max). Do you think it feels like enough? Should it be pushed to 56 or 64, or does it feel like there are enough intersctions as it is?
On a 30hz server, I didn't want it to start playing like crap with too many people. I joined someone's hosted experience that was full to the 48 player max, and it felt okay-ish, but there were some lag spikes and crappiness. But the server also said it had an up time of 77 hours, so no wonder. What do you guys think? On a server with less up time, and a decent number of players populated, does it feel good enough to try 56 players, or is 48 fine?

You could leave the old version, create a copy and work on the updated version and add version numbers, that way people can keep playing your work while you progress.

Hey, I just played Mirak Conquest and I`m very happy, great work :)
I also sent you a PM but I will also ask here, please also add the other levels to your work, it would be the best :)
I do miss vehicle loadout options and the vehicle reticles and friendly fire enabled, but thats just my preference.
Therefore my question in my PM. I really hope you will add the other levels, anyways, thank you very much :)

It should be back up and published within an hour or two.
I test it for hours and it works good. But then, sometimes when I try, I get disconnected randomly. The server just goes away. I don't know if the server crashes or has a network issue or what. But, assuming that the server crashes, I made some changes that should make it perform a little better. All I can do is look at the server frame time and tweak until the frame time drops and test and hope it is good.
Time will tell. But it should be back up and ready for public use soon, and should perform better.
