I just posted something similar in the Battlefield 6 aim assist thread. And I agree 100% with you.
As a PC player, I would like to match only with other PC players using a M&K. And there should be no way to switch to a controller during a match. You should have to exit and restart the game to do so. I do not care one bit for crossplay. Zero interest in it. Give me PC vs PC with M&K and I'll be happy!
I just read your other post, and I completely forgot to mention fair play but you’re absolutely right: it doesn’t matter how strong or weak aim assist or snap aim (or zoom snap, whatever it’s called) is, it still gives a clear advantage in close combat situations. On the other hand, M&K can provide a speed advantage, like flicking or quickly aiming at a distant target with a sniper rifle.
Having both input methods in the same match (or even allowing players to freely switch between them mid-match) just isn’t fair from multiple perspectives.
