This is why EOMM needs to go.

Because war isn’t fair.

Ok, jokes aside… Players will naturally move from server to server, without the need of a rigged matchmaking system. We only need a good server browser and a non-AI augmented matchmaking. (We also need QoL updates for clan matchmaking so they don’t get separated after every match. But we all know it’s due to eomm rigged system… right?)

The point is: are you a bad player? Then you will learn nothing playing against someone weaker than you. Get stomped by the veterans and learn something instead of looking for some kind  of help from a matchmaking system.

And to DICE I’ll say this: if I’d been aware of the presence of a system like eomm, I wouldn’t have bought the game. Is this a threat? No. Will this system ruin your player base in the long run. You can bet your DICE-please back bone it will.

Good luck everyone.

Wait I thought this was SBMM , what’s your source? If this is EOMM for real, I’m so out.

Yes, because none of you have the conviction to actually do something about what you constantly complain about. There are enough people who complain about this every day to ensure that starting a server in your area is not a problem.

Instead, most of you act like community servers don't exist, act like a server browser doesn't exist, and you are the rare person who even replies to me and acknowledges that there is a solution. Most people just come here, complain, do nothing to find or acknowledge a solution, and do not even engage in a discussion as if they even really care.

It's hopeless when your actions work against your interest.

I am sure you won't see matchmaking changed to suit your needs. What are you going to do? Nothing? Complain?

You say matchmaking needs to go. So stop using it! It's a choice. What can you do? Start talking to people and convince them why matchmaking is bad and tell them that an alternative exists.

Community servers don’t work. You can’t start them. You said it yourself.

Community servers don't matchmake after every match. They don't do anything you complain about. That's why all the people who complain should start using the solution that already exists.

But you won't, will you? So why do you guys love complaining? Just to complain? It won't change.

On the fact they never clearly stated that there isn’t one.

Also on the fact we are talking about EA.

And million of players feeling the same.

  • I suppose that this thread depends on whether EOMM even exists in Battlefield 6. What exactly is your proof?

You said it yourself: servers are impossible to get started.
But this is not the point. The problem is not matchmaking. The problem is AI-matchmaking at the end of every match to get the so called “balanced experience”.  This is the most ridiculous idea I’ve ever heard. Matchmaking should only start when a player ask for it, not after every match. An it should only work based on latency in order to optimize connection performance of players. That’s all.

If you use the server browser to find a community server that offers you the game mode and maps you want, with a ping you like (or easily create your own if you can't find it already existing), you will not need to rely on matchmaking, you won't be switched to a different lobby every round, you won't play attacker or defender over and over or the same maps over and over in a random way, and clan members can easily find the same server, join, and never be disbanded regardless of what party they are in. If you do it, and everyone else with the same complaints does it, you will see enough people in the community servers to never complain that the only reason you don't is because the servers are empty and they are impossible to get started.

Everyone who complains about matchmaking just needs to stop using matchmaking.
