    I think all of the maps are just fine for breakthrough for the most part. I haven't really noticed an abundance of wins or losses playing either the attacking or defending team on any of the maps in general.  Honestly my biggest issue in breakthrough matches has been the quality (or lack there of) of team mates more than anything. There probably needs to be a little more tweaking between the balance of Vehicle repairs and how many engineers it takes to kill a Tank or IFV. Although, I think that is a problem not really specific to the game mode but rather a balancing issue in general. I think the majority of my complaints are going to be solved when they manage to patch out several of the map exploits I've noticed particularly on Cairo and New Sobek.

  • map layout is terrible on most maps, everything is so heavily compact in the same tiny spaces, need more wide areas, better points to fight, LESS BUILDINGS AND CAMPING SPOTS ! allow more flank routes ! and vehicle balance! liberation peek is impossible right now, multiple games where the attackers have 3-4 tanks alive and it's hard to kill them in that specific map...

    Yeah, the drone exploit needs to be patched so bad. 😅

    I do agree most maps feel impossible for attacking. there are some maps I found I could flank on but the rest my team acts like a bunch of sheep and pushes the same death hill on Liberation Peak. 😅

  • The map designs are awful. Same philosophy as the rest of the maps. Spawn and instantly in action. In previous games there would be a 'dead zone' between breakthrough zones, and the defenders could only get so far forward, but because the maps are so small one zone bleeds into another and the defenders can often out flank the attackers

    Makes you wonder who playtested the game. Because they claim they built the maps off of player feedback, but I have my doubts.

     

  • The maps aren't great, but the problems I constantly see are enemy getting on rooftops and unbalanced vehicles.

    I've played Breakthrough rounds where one team has 4 tanks and a chopper and the other just 1 tank.

    The allocation is uneven and the game keeps giving vehicles as sectors are taken even when a team already has them.

    There are so many examples of bad design and/or buggy implementation in this game.
