vehicles should not be able to use weapons within the main base area.

Good idea in part, stopping weapons use in the main base would help prevent abuse, especially with AAA tanks camping next to the CRAM/CWIS. Maybe instead of blocking all vehicles, just disable anti-air systems inside the base and stop air-to-ground missiles from being fired into it. That’d fix the safe zone issue without punishing regular defence, and it’d also lower the chance of one team dominating and lining up a wall of tanks along the border.
