Who Thought Tanks in Redsec Battle Royale Were a Good Idea?

No joke — balanced vehicles in 32v32 modes? Fine. But seriously, who thought adding a tank to a battle royale was a good idea?

I played a few matches yesterday, and engineers are absolutely mandatory if you want even a 5% chance against vehicles. My team got wiped two games in a row by a single tank one-shotting everyone from 120 meters.

Add the fact that the driver gets a busted third-person view, and you end up with a brain-dead gameplay loop of a tank with full escort just stomping the entire lobby.

So yeah, congrats — last game, we played tank... and we destroyed the match. Not in a good way.

I get that some people have a weird nostalgia for tanks because it’s part of “Battlefield’s DNA,” but this is a battle royale — and tanks in a BR are just not fun.

Please, delete this nonsense fast before all the work you’ve done goes straight to a dead game.
