ERROR CODE 1:86001S:89001S:9C:-13561655840

Any one have any new info or updates? I have contacted EA support chat three different times, and unfortunately get three different answers. Really seems like no one at EA knows what is going on. 

Same problem here with my son. I can login fine, but he gets the 1:86001S:89001S:9C:-13561655840 error.

It sounds like it'll be to do with a child's account not being linked to a "full fat" EA account with with a true email behind it rather than the @anonymous.ea.com nonsense. Coincidently, that it making linking his account with associated progression to the Steam version also impossible, which is frustrating, but not as frustrating as him being locked out of the Xbox version for days on end now.

Ha'way EA, get it sorted man.

Brother I'm with you.  I can't access my son's EA account because they needed that random email generated on the xbox.  No response from customer service.  Infuriating. 

Same problem.  Reinstalled and reset everything. Age restrictions set to adult.  My profile works fine but our other family account gets that error. We have digital version. Get on this EA. 

We just created a new player tag/profile with a new email address (created a new gmail) and logged in as the new person since the game is already downloaded on the Xbox.  Only downside was starting from scratch 

I agree, I really wish they would officially acknowledge the issue. Then I know if I should just wait it out for a fix, or if I am wasting my time. 

How did you do that without having to repurchase the game?

Any ideas on how we can escalate this? I bought the game under my sons account, but now he is unable to play it due to a change that they made. I'd hope not to get a refund, but might have to so that I can setup my son with his own account and start the whole process over. It really should not be this difficult to get an answer on if this is even a concern on their radar or if we are just wasting our time on this forum.

Someone in the chat thread did post the phone number to EA corporate office, maybe they would be able to provide a bit more clarity.

I hope that is not the case with this game. I bought a separate copy of the game just for my son to play. I wonder if I should be asking for a refund now?
