I'm having the same problem since yesterday morning after reinstalling Windows. I did a full wipe, installed Windows 11 Pro, ran the debloater script and only installed essential drivers, Steam and then Battlefield 6. Since then, I've tried everything suggested here and on the Steam forums, no luck. So out of frustration, I wiped my PC again, this time I didn't even run the debloater, just installed my drivers and Battlefield 6 through Steam and yet I still get the exact same error.
The only thing that has changed since my long running Windows install before yesterday is my location, I bought this PC in the Netherlands but I live in Sweden now. EA_LunardustCat / EA_Aljo / EA_Rtas can you by any chance check if my account got flagged for unusual activity (might happen due to region change)? My EA account is connected to Steam, but I can pass on my Steam ID in a private message.
Since so many people are having this issue, looking at these forums and at the Steam community, I doubt the problem is on our end and frankly, I don't think it's reasonable to ask people (especially less tech-savvy ones) to try and do most of the workaround mentioned here. Please have a proper look into this issue.
