Game uses over 2GBS more VRAM in the new update, causing crashes

When i first began playing i noticed my game would randomly crash for no reason constantly, when i realised it was because i was using too much of my VRAM it stopped. With the newest update, i cannot play the game for more than a minute due to the game using 2GBS of my already scarce VRAM, alongside the 6GBS it usually uses. This update was supposed to bring performance overhauls, this seems incredibly unlikely, atleast for me. Please fix this game breaking issue.
