Gyro Control Implementation (PLEASE READ)
This has been an issue since the start of Battlefield 6, and I can only hope that any employee at Battlefield Studios can take a look into this. Liking and sharing this around would definitely help getting awareness from developers.
This isn't a bug, but it's how gyro controls were implemented into BF6. In other untitled shooter games, gyro controls are implemented in mind where you are able to use the right stick AND motion controls at the same time, allowing (at least for what I use) for camera movements with the stick and easier adjustments with the gyro sensors. For what the gyro controls are right now, you are forced to replace all stick camera movement into gyro movements, and you can turn around using ratcheting (a niche thing to do) or using flick stick.
For computer players, imagine using your mouse but having to move it back to the center every time you try to turn a certain distance. That is ratcheting. And in my opinion, it is incredibly uncomfortable and I believe that it would not be hard for the developers at Battlefield Studios to implement this. This isn't "unfair" or "too hard to implement." It is simply accessibility for players who have a different way of playing the game, such as myself.
We are currently four seasons into Battlefield 6, and the gyro controls have not changed, and always remained as one of the most uncomfortable, displeasing ways to use gyro in any game I have ever played. I am requesting for Battlefield Studios to please add native gyro control support, and allow for players to use stick + gyro together. Enough of the clunky gyro we have now. So many players would love this feature to be added.
Thank you for your time reading this, and may we hope that the gyro controls can be just like every other shooter game today.
