PS5 Resolution Has Regressed Since Patch 1.3.2.1

I’m playing on a standard PS5, and I wanted to report what appears to be a major visual regression introduced with patch 1.3.2.1.

Since launch, the game suffered from very low internal resolution and poor image quality on PS5. Everything looked noticeably soft and blurry, almost as if the game was rendering at around 720p.

When Season 3 launched (about three months ago), this issue finally seemed to be fixed. The image became much sharper, the overall presentation improved significantly, and I was genuinely impressed. It felt like the PS5 version was finally rendering at the quality it should have from the beginning.

However, after the 1.3.2.1 update released around two weeks ago, the problem has returned. The image quality has regressed dramatically. The game once again looks extremely blurry, distant objects lack detail, and the overall presentation resembles the launch version. It honestly feels like the internal resolution has dropped back to around 720p.

Nothing has changed on my end:

• Standard PS5
• Same display
• Same HDMI cable
• Same console settings

The only change was installing patch 1.3.2.1, after which the visual quality immediately deteriorated.

Could the team please investigate whether this patch accidentally changed the rendering resolution or introduced a bug affecting image quality on PS5?

The improvement made with Season 3 was one of the biggest graphical upgrades the game has received, so it’s disappointing to see it seemingly disappear after this update.

I’d also appreciate it if other PS5 players could share whether they’re experiencing the same issue.
