Short freezes on spawnscreen.

hey bro. check this comment out on reddit. this helped stop the stuttering for me

go to graphics > advanced settings > set frame rate limiter  - in game & in menu to the same. the poster selected 165 and that seemed to have worked for me thus far. also you may be to enable frame rate limiter - in game as it was disabled for me.

simple in game fix for respawn freezing

I don't know if the latest AMD Drivers (26.6.4) or todays game patch (1.3.3.0) are to thank, but my freezes are gone.

edit: It's still horrible in Portal... i mean REALLY awful...

Have to confirm, this doesn't seem to be an individual corrupted settings case or so, but a wider problem, possibly focused on AMD cards. I have seen comments about this elsewhere too. I have AMD 9070xt, and have had the same exact problem with couple of the latest major BF6 patches. Last patch fixed the jumpy mouse from the spawn screen, but the 1 second freeze right when the spawn screen shows up is still there. I have also used the latest AMD drivers all the time. I tried reinstalling gpu drivers and verifying the game files. This got accidentally fixed for me when windows update wanted to force install older amd 26.3.1 drivers, overwriting the newest ones. With those older drivers I don't see the problem, but would like to install newest ones again, when this problem is addressed.

Rolled back adrenallin drivers to 26.6.1 worked for me.

7950x3d plus 7900xtx  

the 26.6.2 added fsr 4 to support 7 series cards, which caused this for me. back to last version.

I just turned it off, it worked

Had the same issue. If your on AMDs 9000 series GPUs and using FSR while in fullscreen mode just change it to borderless.

26.6.1 driver ver

Using DDU then installing the gpu WHQL driver 32.0.22042.14002 through Windows device manager instead of installing AMD Adrenalin is what fix the spawn screen freeze for me.

Thanks. Turning off FSR did work. a few less fps, but a least no more freezes.
