SIM / Lag Issue. Impossible to play.

I am once again making a post about this issue that is not resolved.

I got this very same SIM performance issue that EA has acknowledged months ago. I do not even have min-spec system and still getting tremendous amounths of SIM related performance issues that makes game completely unplayable.

I could play on 30hz portal servers as i did until EA decided to change them to 60hz making this game completely unplayable for me.

it is 4 months into this game, and yet i have not been able to play this game i paid 70€ as it sould be played. Refunds are denied even update made game completely unplayable. No timetable on fixing this issue. Ridiculous.

    Thing that does not fit my mind is that min-spec CPU is Ryzen 5 2600, but this 5600G outperforms it on paper in every way and is 2 gens newer, so i expect this game to work flawlessly with it without needing to buy new hardware. I am not going to upgrade my hw that works good with any other game i play. This was just a waste of money it seems.

    So i am running out of ideas.

    Your system really seems to be in order.

    16 GB RAM, RAM is in Dual, RAM is in XMP.

    A big CPU cooler to cool the 5600G.

    The  5600G is a mobile CPU on a Desktop Socket.

    It only supports PCI-E 3.0 but that should not affect the 3060.

    The processor not boosting enough is the only problem i can think of.

    Would like to change the processor and see what happens then, but i understand not everyone has a "backyard" full of old hardware like me to change stuff around.

    Sorry that i could not help.

    I have not fiddled with any cpu settings that would choke / limit / change cpu boost so i could bet that that is not the case.

    Temperatures with NH-D15 are so low while playing that it is not the issue 110% sure.

    Ok so cpu cooler wise no problem.

    Did you check if the CPU boosts high enough?

    Like with a software like prime95?

    And can it keep boosting stable since you have the NH-D15?

    Yes i suspected also overheating and went and spent another 120€ to Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler which kept temperatures lower, but had no effect of SIM FPS issues, so not an temp throttling issue.

  • Friend of mine has a prebuild 5600g system and it is constantly overheating with bf6, due to the high temperature it was downclocking itself.
    We needed to upgrade the CPU Cooler and to undervolt the CPU slightly since the prebuild case is way too small.
    In addition we added two more case fans because the heat of the dedicated GPU + the CPU was too much for the small case.

    So in order to see if your System suffers the same problem would you please try this  Software "HWMonitor", it  can Log Temp & Clocks.

    Tools -> Start Recording
    Tools -> Stop Recording

    It should give you a CSV File which we can hopefully analyze.

  • Hey, can u provide a

    • DXDiag
    • CPU-Z Screenshots of all "Tabs" to check if your RAM is in DualMode, XMP is actived and so on.
    • Screenshot / Video of SIM / Lag
