    Hello hellomothafacas,

    Every Battlefield 4 servers on PC is privately owned. Simply, you are joining private servers since there are no official servers.

Hello,

It's definitely frustrating to experience that inconsistency with the quick search feature in Battlefield 4 on console. You're right, it does seem unfair that your privately owned server needs a player threshold to populate via quick search, while other private servers appear to get priority and pull players in from an empty state. Unfortunately, the exact mechanics of the Battlefield 4 quick search algorithm aren't publicly documented by DICE.
