Can ea fix the ai in this game?

They program the whole game right? So how come when I put a corner to a flat he runs man to a reciver instead, or when I have my pulling guard pulling he just runs the completely wrong way, I just wanna know why the ai in this game don’t do what there supposed to do I feel like ea just programmed the game, they don’t actually know how each position works and what there supposed to do for example when I have my corner on a quarter flat and when a wide receiver runs a streak he completely follows him up the field (if you know football you should know the quarter flat drops after he realizes it’s a streak) then the whole right side of the field is wide open.
