The other problem is EA shows the exact formation to the defense. It use to only show personnel. So people see it's 6 on 5 lineman so they just blitz on a numbers game.
Cover 0 has always been around and a thing. Your just not catching them in it when you are blocking for it. Sounds like you are just playing frustrated just trying to force the same play over and over. You can't block 6 on 5 in 5 WR.
Problem with this too is since you show the exact formation, it's oh I'm playing Alabama and they only have a handful of plays in some formations. Ok that's popular. I know that now I set the defense play call to the best.
That's why we need custom playbooks.
There are some other teams I really want to play with but I can't due to the fact of that teams playbook isn't for me. And if the team is a spread offense to begin with my custom playbook is a spread too. That's how most people are with custom playbook. Very rarely you'll see someone get Oregon and run under center in I formation back in day with custom formation. Like 1 in 100 would do that.
It's hard to sacrifice your record just to learn a different teams playbook in online. And just hard in general to learn several different playbook to run with a different team.
