“EA app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

(macOS) “EA app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

This has been happening every time the EA app updates in the background now.
Forcing me to keep the EA app open all the time.

I use to be able to clear the caches manually, delete the EA app, restart my mac, and then install Origin, then let Origin migrate to the EA app. (re-downloading the EA app didn't install properly?)

It's only been happening to me since about March of 2025. 

Now since Origin is offline, I literally can't access my EA app at all as it won't open no matter how many times I reinstall it, manually delete caches, restart my mac, etc. (As i can't even access the EA helper tool or whatever its called.)
