App constantly resets language setting

I am no expert but it depends on what language you have windows install in even do i went to set up in my case the ea app in french its set itself to english becausae i have windows 11 install in english

Then we are right back to the question I asked: Why even offer the option to select the desired language when it sets the language it wants?

I run my games in another language than my operating system for good reasons. But none of the other games or apps reset their language on their own.

I have my EA App set to English

However, every time I restart my computer, the language changes to Brazilian Portuguese. Every single time. It's driving me nuts!

How do I stop it from switching languages every time I boot up my computer again? I want it to be permanently in English, but it just keeps switching back to Portuguese. It's very inconvenient.

EA App keeps changing settings to default ones, the most annoying one being constantly resetting the client's language to my system's language (Italian), when I'd like to have everything in English. In-game overlay is re-enabled automatically, too. But that one is a minor issue for me. 

Back to languages, there is an annoying issue with localization of EA App into Italian (it's one of the main reasons why I'm so passionate about using the App in English): I keep logging out when I just want to quit EA App for the time being. In fact, The two options, on the right side of taskbar of Windows, are called "Esci", and "Uscita", which is basically the same, so I'm always confused. 

"Logout" also exists in Italian, with the exact same meaning it has in English: please, use this term instead. So there is a clear distinction between the 2 options. Thank you 

I am located in Germany, but prefer to play and read in English.

Whenever I change the language under Settings/Application/Application Settings Language to English and thereafter restart the App this change is lost and I am back to German as the App Language.

Any suggestions how to change this permanently without also changing the location to United Kingdom - which than allows to keep the English Language setting?

Correct me if I am wrong, but are you saying that none of your in-EA app settings are being saved when you reboot the client or your system? Do you perform an EA app recovery from time to time by any chance?

Regarding the app not remembering login credentials: this is something the teams are aware of and are investigating (thread here).

Hi, I am writing this because it seems to be a random, but pretty frequent, event. It does not happen every day, for example, but some days I just launch app and boom, Italian it is. As far as I understand, not directly connected to client updates, or app recovery/ cache. Not sure if issue occurs with ANY settings, or just some, as language and in-game overlay are those I use. 

Every now and then the app restarts with different language then the one I set. 

Seems like it reverts to the language of the area I am in, but I want to keep English language as a default one. Luckily it didn't change to the language with completely different writing system or I would've more problems with changing the language back.

Please try clearing the cache for the EA app using these steps. If you still have issues with the language in the app changing once you've tried that, please run an EA Error Report with these steps, and attach your Report ID to the thread here so we can look into this a bit further. Thank you! 

Same problem here. But the app also forgets other settings, like the notifications and "Update games automatically". I can reproduce this easy: closing (left menu with "exit") and starting the app two times and the language is back to system default. Poorly programmed it seems.
