I am a Veteran Sim of many years and feeling rather angry as to what is happening to the EA APP as its takes forever to open and display and then I play for a while then shut for a break then try to open EA APP again
Is this since the latest update
Never had issues before and i have a whole library of Sims Games including the new pack
I have no mods I removed them repaired APP removed App reinstalled etc now getting fed up

I've been having this same issue. I've tried everything, including flushing my DNS cache and nothing has worked. Sometimes, if I close down the app and reopen it, I'll get the "couldn't connect to servers" but then it will finally load and I'm able to play my games. This is very frustrating.
I've been having the same problem. I have cleared the cache and uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it makes no difference,
Not sure if this is fully resolved, but I was able to open the app just now without getting the error. It fully loaded on the first try for the first time in about a week.
I have the same issue. When I launch the app, it says it needs to restart or is stuck on a blank screen during a gameplay session. Even if I manage to get the app back to a normal state - it takes ages for it to go back to normal. I tried the ea app recovery feature to 'clear the cache' and this issue still persists - something is very wrong with the ea servers! Cause this did not happen before the EP21 launch / last patch update. Other sim influencers have reported this issue such as misslollypopsims and EnglishSimmer.
The only workaround I found was launching Sims 4 from a shortcut I made which is from the game install directory, the TS4_x64.exe executable.
