EA App not launching games

So I've been wanting to play NFS Hot Pursuit for the past couple of days without any success. Whenever I try to launch the game the screen goes black for a couple of seconds and then the game crashes nd after the app shows a prompt saying someting about an EA App error and to try later but no specification of what error it was. Sometimes the game manages to boot but it goes like "fullscreen" (?) on my monitor and my laptop screen, using both of them and resizing the game window. 

I'd appreciate if someone would tell me what is going on, I just wanna play my game :(
