EA app on Mac "Something Went Wrong" pop-up Every 5 Minutes

I've updated my mac yesterday (macos tahoe 26.3) and my game but my EA app keeps on giving me this pop-up about every five minutes. Also my game will not launch, the reason being 'it's already running' even though it absolutely is not as I haven't even played it in two months.

I reinstalled the game and repaired it, tried everything that could possibly fix the issue for over twenty hours but nothing worked. I use mods but before every update I always take out the mods folder and I haven't put it back in this whole time. My frustration has finally led me here in hopes that I could find a solution.

Upon checking deeper I've noticed that the process 'com.ea.app.backgroundAgent' continuously respawns and the launcher believes a session is active even though I've manually tried rebooting over a dozen times. Activity Monitor shows that it's always running despite me killing it. I hope that this is relevant in any way but I'm unsure. I thought that the deletion would trigger it to detect the game is not running and would fix it perhaps. It's not my specialty. I do not think there's anything more I can do on my own to fix this.
