Hi everyone,About two days ago, the EA App suddenly stopped opening on my computer without any apparent reason. Until then, I was able to play my games normally, but now, when I try to launch the app, nothing happens — no error message, and the interface doesn’t show up.What I’ve tried so far:Ending all EA-related processes in Task Manager and trying againAdding an exception in the antivirus and even disabling itRunning as administratorChanging compatibility settingsRunning EA App Recovery and EA App UpdateSubmitting a report using EA Error Reporter (I have the ticket ID)Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the EA AppRolling back the latest Windows updatesStill, the issue remains. Interestingly, the EA App appears as a running process in Task Manager, but the interface never loads. Even when trying to launch a game directly from its shortcut, neither the game nor the EA App starts.Additional info:Windows 11, version 24H2, build 26.100.3624I work in IT and have technical knowledge, I’ve tried many solutions before reaching out here.No system changes or suspicious installations occurred between the time it was working and when it stopped.I honestly don’t know what else to do. If anyone has faced this issue or knows of a fix, I’d really appreciate your help!

I found a weird solution but if you create a new user on windows and install ea there everything works fine, was the only solution I found without wiping my PC

Hello AlanMagicxD ,Unfortunately, I still haven’t found a solution, and it seems nobody knows how to fix this.Possibly due to the lack of responses in the thread.I also forgot to mention earlier that I already tried installing and troubleshooting in Clean Boot mode, but it didn’t work either.At this point, I’m running out of options.I was hoping someone from the official EA Community team could at least acknowledge this issue, even if just to say they’d look into it. But I’m not sure if that’s going to happen.

hello im also having the same problem but on windows 10. for me the connecting to the app screen pops up for barely a few seconds before closing and not opening the EA app, i check my task manager and sure enough theres multiple ea's and the eabackground service. and ive also done most of basic troubleshoots and still no fix for me either.

I'm also having this problem, but I'm def not about to wipe my whole my PC just to play a handful of games, but again this is ridiculous. I've tried every solution, except for the other user one, but don't feel like doing that. lol. So just letting others know that this is a problem and hopefully EA finds a solution.

I FIXED IT. In windows go to "Power & Sleep" -> "Additional power settings" under "Related settings" and select "High Performance". Then try and relaunch EA and it should open right up.

Ive tried to get the EA app Error Reporter ID, however the error tool seems to keep getting suspended. Ill provide an update here if I can get an ID number.

Hi everyone,
Unfortunately, I had to wipe my PC to resolve the issue. It was my last resort after all other solutions failed.
It wasn't ideal, but it's the only thing that worked in my case.
I noticed that logging in with a different user worked for some people, but by the time I saw that, I had already restored my PC.
I also saw that a Community Manager requested the EA Reporter ticket ID.
I'm sharing mine here in case it helps, although my issue is already resolved.

Yeah I tried this and it worked aswell. Kinda infuriating that it just doesnt work normally on the main user.
