EA Desktop - "You don't have access" and "an error on our end caused it to fail"
I only have one EA account, connected to EA Play through Xbox Games pass. I have downloaded ME legendary edition through the EA Beta Desktop App and put 36 hours into it over the last few months.
Today I left the game paused while I ate dinner, I came back played for 30 seconds then it crashed. After it crashed the EA desktop app stopped letting me launch the game saying that I do not have access to the game. I figured maybe clicking "download" would get it to recognize the game files but it just erased everything in the folder C:\Program Files\EA Games\Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Does this game save to the cloud? I'd be pretty darn pissed if I just lost all my progress.
Either way, I wanted to see if anyone else had this issue and what was their workaround? I haven't seen any posts like it in my quick searches over the last 30min.
