EA extension not working with Xbox app

 I wanted to play ea play games through PC game pass. I own PC game pass but when I try to enable the extension it says "we're having trouble connecting to EA app. Try restarting the Xbox app or contacting ea support."(Sometimes with error code -2147221163) I have already tried restarting, logging out and back in, reinstalling both the Xbox app and the EA app and it still doesn't work.  I need a quick response as I can't use one of the most important features of the subscription I paid for
