Summarize your bug When launching Dead Space Remake from Epic Store the app says "Please wait while we install the partner application" and nothing happens. EA App doesn't launch and Dead Space game is not added in my library.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy Dead Space Remake in Epic Store and try launching it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing happes
What do you expect to see? Dead Space game launched.
I've checked with Epic Store support. They've sent me to EA Support.

Had this same problem while trying to run this game on a Windows 11 OS with a user account that doesn't have admin rights, despite running both the EA App and Epic Games Launcher using "run as admin" and providing admin account credentials.
If I click in the Epic Store launcher on "Install" under new Dead Space it just displays "Please wait while we install the partner application" for a few seconds and nothing happens.
I tried reinstalling both Epic Games Launcher and the EA App but same result.
I managed to solve my problem by logging into my PC using an account that does have full admin rights. After that, when I clicked "Install" under new Dead Space game I was first prompted to link my EA and Epic accounts and the game installed successfully but from my EA App, despite the fact I bought it from Epic Games store.
After the installation, the game can be normally run as any other using an account that doesn't have admin rights. Just the installation and linking of the accounts seems to have issues if you are logged in with an account that doesn't have full admin rights despite running both clients as an administrator.
I've solved the problem by
1) Uninstalling both EA App and Epic Games app
2) Deleting all remains from %appdata% and Program Files from EA app
3) Reinstalling both apps
After this, I received the window with the request to link Epic Store account and EA App. That part was missing and blocking me before.
So,
not so long ago I decided to uninstall this game because I had no space on my drive. Now, after a while, I got a new, empty drive and I wanted to install this game again.
Thats when a series of problems came in.
1.) When I wanted to install it on Epic Games, each time there is the popup "Please wait while we install the partner application"
2.) After doing some research this "Partner application" seems to be Origin which, to my surprise, was for some reason no longer used by EA, to my understanding. (I do not know why I did not have it in my PC)
3.) I found the offline installer for Origin, when I tried installing it, I could not. Reason was that the installer required me to be online. It wanted me to log in on my EA account, which I couldn’t.
4.) Iam now stuck in an endless loop. Click on installation > launches origin setup > wants me to log in my account > can’t because Origin is no longer used by EA, therefore it is offline.
I have gone through countless posts but none seem to have this exact issue.
What surprised me that other games began installing correctly, it is just this one game that I WANT to install that does not work.
Any help with this will be most appreciated.
🙂
I bought madden through epic games, and when i launch it, it opens EA and i can click the manage button, but the download button is unclickable,
Battlefront 2 not starting
I have the game from Epic Games , and when i try to launch it (from any platform or .exe ) it will open Epic games Launcher and EA launcher , than 2 things can happen : 1. in the EA launcher it is trying to start the game , but nothing happens (pic. 1 ) 2. the launcher doing something and trying to start it , and open a other (EA ) window , but then it will close it and nothing happens . (pic . 2 )I bought 2 games from Epic Games, It Takes Two and Battlefield 2042. It Takes Two is in my EA library but Battlefield 2042 is not. When I click on Battlefield 2042 from Epic Games, it redirects me to the EA Store. Can you help me? I don't know what to do.
@M0rphyn06So sorry this has happened to u! I'm not an EA worker but I love to help people figure out their games 🙂 Did u use PayPal/Credit Card etc to pay for ur games or did u use a redemption code? PayPal/Credit Card is more reliable as it goes straight through the EA app. Redemption codes are touch and go. Battlefield 2042 might not have appeared if u redeemed a code for it.
Furthermore, another reason could be if u bought them in a bundle? Lots of people have trouble buying more than one game in bundles.
Additionally, another reason could be if u didn't allow the transaction for that game to fully finish? Did u exit the site before the whole transaction was complete or did ur console lose charge etc? Did anything happen that could've prevented the game from fully downloading?
In terms of solving this problem, I would use the EA Error Reporter in the EA app. As it's not a very complex case for the staff to solve, EA Error Reporter is probably the best place to go. If any of my ideas seem relevant to your problem, then mention that in the report as it may help the EA staff figure out how to get u ur game back. If none of these apply to u, still write a report but it may take a little longer for it to be solved.
In order to access EA Error Reporter, click on the three lines in the top left corner of the EA app, hover over 'help' and click EA Error Reporter. U have to let it make changes to ur device otherwise it won't allow u to make the report.
Best of luck!
I really hope this helps 🙂I bought Madden 24 from Epic games. When everything finished and I clicked "install", it brought me to the EA app to link my account. Once my accounts were linked, that's about it. The game never installed and every time I click "install" again, the EA app brings me to my library but nothing is happening in there. It just shows my games that I have installed... Madden isn't installing or even showing up in my EA library.
