queenoli  It sounds like your EA and Steam accounts may not be properly linked to each other.  Please contact EA customer support for help.  Try to find a live chat option; if you don't see it, choose a slightly different category of issue.

You can also try using the help site without signing in.  Some categories allow you to proceed without an active login, and those typically offer live chat.

So is steam going to transfer my packs that I bought because I refuse to start over 

Plus the Ea app is where I am buying all of my packs 

When I do that it makes me sign into ea app 

queenoli  You need to launch Sims 4 through Steam, not the EA App.

If you'd like to uninstall the App, restart your computer first, and make sure the App is closed and the EABackgroundService is NOT running in the Task Manager.

I’m trying to close the app so I can reinstall it 

On my laptop I removed the EA app so I redownloaded the app on my laptop and it wants me to repair then restart my computer. I’ve restarted my computer 5 times to repair the app on my laptop and it still didn’t work I just want to play my sims like that’s all I want to do. I’m frustrated due to the fact that I can’t play my sims and I buy all of these packs and I just want to play my sims on my laptop also the sims keeps shutting down on me 

queenoli mfrosero  Are you saying the EA App doesn't work, and how; or is the problem that Sims 4 doesn't work?  Please post screenshots if you think they would help illustrate the problem.

same issue for me.  This is frustrating...no way to get help...
