I've bought game pass ultimate for pc, installed the EA App, linked it to my xbox account, and on the Xbox App all of the EA play games show up, tells me I can install. Then it takes me to the EA App where it tells me to buy EA Play for 5.99 a month. I LITERALLY cannot install any EA game on game pass unless I buy EA Play or the game itself.

Please clear the cache for the EA app and the Xbox app, and then give it another try.
Xbox app:
Go to Settings> System> Apps & features> Select App> Advanced options> Reset.

I am having the same issue, I was playing Jedi Survivor earlier today, launched it this afternoon and Ea app library say games have been removed from your library, jedi survivor has been removed and reason is Your Epic Subscription has ended, renew your subscription to continue playing.
I have an ultimate pass and its linked properly.
I'm having the same problem however your solution didn't work for me. I'm still not able to access my Game Pass games.
I had the same problem today and for some reason it mentioned epic subscription, i got my subscription from xbox but? and i never even bought any ea games from epic games but for some reason it says from epic games aa i got it from xbox
Same problem, i have xbox game pass (not ultimate) played need for speed unbound for 10 days but today i log out my computer and guess what, a misterious divinity interstelar connection malfunction process has happened. Now i rememeber why i didn\t install Ea app, becouse this app is the worst i've ever seen from our milky way galaxy.
If you want to solve the problem follow this:
- buy a new computer
-install a fresh windows
-createa a new microsoft account
create a new xbox account
-create a new ea account
If it doesn't work, clearly its not our fault.
@EA_Pulsar The steps for the xbox app are not as in the app, I cant find my way of fixing the issue that way. I literally played jedi survivor yesterday and still have it taking up space but can't run it since it says that my game pass expired which it did and i renewed it but EA app didnt register it , i have tried everything people mentioned in the related threads, nothing fixed the issue so far.
1 hour later after posting my issue on this forum, my ea app recognise my xbox game pass and i can finally install games.This is weird so i guess patience is the key, sometimes.
